Hello!
My name is Melissa Nicole, and I am the average mommy trying to make one million things work and fit into a 24 hour window. I'm 24, a graduate of CSU Fresno with my Bachelors of Science in Child Development, and plan on attending Graduate school pursuing a Masters of Education program with an emphasis in Early Childhood Education. I love children, and love taking pictures of them, and I hate taking pictures of myself, so most pictures you will see me in, will feature either my gorgeous daughter, or me with other people, typically in some kind of renaissance garb which brings us to our next pictures...
This is my handsome fiance and I Mikel, doing one of the few hobbies we have time for and enjoy doing together! Renaissance faires are probably my #1 favorite passtime because I get to be a dork, dress up in pretty costumes and portray a period of history that few people know about. Oh and I get to educate the public as well! Isn't he handsome?
Then we come to my second favorite part of faire, which is dressing up Scarlett. She is such a ham when it comes to taking pictures and is just an absolutely beautiful little peasant baby! (She is 11 months here)
Again who can resist dressing up babies? This is Scarlett as a flower fairy. One of my favorite pictures of her thus far.
First faire with the munchkin, she is 6 months here. I love this picture, even if I look like a total goober.
Well I think that about sums it up: I'm a Early Childhood Educator who has a passion for all things related to children: I thrive to educate parents as well as peers about the importance of early literacy, play, and arts. I am still learning myself about the process of raising children and working with them, and love every minute of it. :) If you have any other questions feel free to ask!
